Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS), informed its customers that the AWS Summit in San Francisco next week is full, but that opening presentations will be streamed online.
Yesterday’s company e-mail stated that registration for the AWS Summit – San Francisco has been closed due to overwhelming demand. “Please join us live from your office or home for the Keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels (CTO, Amazon.com) and the Fireside Chat with Andy Jassy (CEO, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon Infrastructure.”
Developers and others who register to stream will be able to attend the opening sessions at 9:30 a.m. PDT on Wednesday April 19.
Technical bootcamps, which cost $600 to register for (summit registration is not required), will not be streamed.
Upcoming summits are planned in Washington, Chicago, and New York in June and July respectively.
