Many digital teams I know don’t want to be involved in a risk register. A lot of digital PMs that I know don’t want anything to do with risk registers.
Yet, one of the most important things you can do for your team is to be able to identify, assess and prioritize project risks.
This workshop is for those who think that risk management concepts such as qualitative and quantitative risk management and risk registers are too complicated or heavy for their project.
Together, we’ll create a lightweight risk registry that your team can refer to and understand. First, we’ll cover the basics of creating and using a risk register. Next, we’ll do a group exercise to identify common risks in digital projects such as web application builds and share risk management strategies. We’ll finish by discussing how to talk about risk management with your team members and other stakeholders.
