December 31, 2018, will be not only the last day in the year, but also the farewell tour of several Microsoft exams. The following certification tests will not meet the requirements of the New Year 2018.

Configuring and deploying a private cloud
Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions
Project Server 2013: Managing Programs and Projects

The Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud exam (70-246) measures an individual’s ability configure data center process automation, monitor resource monitoring, monitor resource usage, configure and maintain service management, and manage configuration and protection.
Candidates should have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows PowerShell, Windows Server, System Center 2012, security and high-availability.
The 70-246 exam is part of the MCP and MCSE certifications.

The Configuring and Deploying Private Clouds (70-247) exam tests an individual’s ability design and deploy System Center, configure System Center infrastructure and integration, and configure virtual machines and services.
Candidates should have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows PowerShell, Windows Server, System Center 2012, security and high-availability.
The 70-247 exam is part of the MCP and MCSE certifications.

The Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions exam (70-534) tests an individual’s ability design Azure Resource Manager networking, an app storage and data access strategy and Azure Web and Mobile Apps. It also measures an individual’s ability to manage, monitor and maintain business continuity, secure resources, and architect an Azure Compute Infrastructure.
Candidates should be familiar with Azure services in order to be able identify tradeoffs and make design decisions for hybrid and public cloud solutions.
The 70-534 exam is part of the MCP, MCSA and MCSE certifications.

Important: The 70-534 exam is being replaced by a new exam (proposed examination number 535) that covers a new objective domain. This exam will be available starting November 30, 2017.
The Managing Programs & Projects with Project Server 2013 exam (74-344) measures an individual’s ability create enterprise projects and portfolios with Project Server 2013, plan enterprise projects, manage resources, track and collaborate on enterprise projects, and manage configurable enterprise objects.
Candidates should have a solid understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Project Professional 2013 or Project Web App 2013. This includes managing enterprise custom fields, views, portfolio objects, and view management.
The MCP certification includes the 74-344 exam.
